Although not all qualified builders in our area belong to the UYBA, the association is expanding to include reputable builders, suppliers, sub-contractors, realtors, and financial institutions.
Every member of the UYBA is proud of their excellent reputation here, established over the years. Association members recommend that construction should meet or exceed International (I.B.C) Building Codes, and mechanical codes. Even in rural areas outside the jurisdiction of such codes.
Approriate insurance coverage of our UYBA workers is extended to subcontractors. Not all contractors are insured. This means you could be liable for injuries and/or property damage by using an uninsured contractor. It is essential that you, the homeowner, be certain that the hired contractor is properly insured.
